    The days are getting shorter and the evenings are getting longer, which means it's time for winter decorations again. 

    Perhaps you have found branches in the garden or while out walking, then you can easily transform them into an impressive decorative piece. With a fresh touch of color and lighting in the form of fairy lights, you can create an atmospheric ambience in no time at all.

    This DIY project is ideal for the area outside your front door. It gives your entrance area a new shine and immediately puts your guests in a festive mood. You can also place the branch in the living room or use it as a table decoration.

    In this post, we'll show you how to make the simple DIY project from @decorize_diy.homestyling quickly and easily yourself.

    Design your own decorative branch with fairy lights:

    Step 1: Select decorative branches and sand down the bucket

    The first step is to look for a branch. You can either find a suitable one in the garden or collect one on a walk. For the DIY idea, you also need a tub in which you can place the branches  or trap the branch. Before the bucket can be sprayed with paint, it must first be carefully sanded.

    Pour the paint into the paint sprayer container and dilute it with water if necessary.  We recommend that you then carry out a small spray test on a cardboard box before you start the actual project.

    Now you can get started. Spray the branch and the bucket in the color of your choice. Always hold the spray unit parallel to the object being sprayed. The paint sprayer applies the paint to every nook and cranny of your branches in no time at all.  In our example, the large branch and the bucket were sprayed in black for greater contrast, so that the fairy lights stand out better in the dark.

    Decorative branches or twigs are not only a  real  eye-catcher  in your home, but can also be decorated in different ways and staged according to the season.

    Natural table decorations give every celebration a very special atmosphere. Combine the branches and twigs with festive colors such as gold or red. Arrange them in a vase or as a centerpiece on the table. Hang small Christmas baubles or fairy lights on it to give the decorative branch a festive touch. Complete the arrangement with fir branches and tea lights for a warm, cozy atmosphere.
    For example, place a small nativity scene or an Advent wreath next to it. You can also use a Christmas tablecloth or candles to create a festive atmosphere. In this way, you can create a magical Christmas table decoration that emphasizes the naturalness of the season.

    Winter is the perfect time to brighten up your home with festive decorations. Decorating a branch with a string of lights is not only a popular idea outdoors. The fairy lights also create a cozy and Christmassy atmosphere within your own four walls.
    To get started, all you need is a branch, some paint of your choice and a string of lights. As shown in our derivation, you can spray your decorative branch with your favorite color and place it in combination with a string of lights in the living and dining area. It is up to you whether you decorate the branch upright in a vase or place it on a sideboard.

    Alternatively, you can also hang up a large branch and use it as a practical Advent calendar.  Branches that are well branched and stable enough to attach the fabric or paper bags to are ideal for this. Here, too, you can design the branch to suit your taste and spray it with a WAGNER paint spray system.
    You can hang the branch  anywhere you like with the yarn.  You can stick the number stickers 1-24 on the fillable bags or alternatively write the numbers on the paper bags and attach them to the decorative branch with yarn. Finally, you can decorate the branch with Christmas decorations.
