Powder preparation and supply center

The IPS is an integrated complete solution that achieves consistently high coating results over a much longer period of time than conventional powder centers on the market. Powder preparation, feeding and dosing are housed in a closed system that carries out color changes automatically at the touch of a button.

Overview

The IPS is a powerful, highly integrated and fully automated powder supply and color change system and enables increased productivity, consistently high quality, simple operation and consistently short color change times. It has a double fresh powder supply, powder preparation by ultrasonic sieving, vibration and fluidization, as well as high-precision powder dosing elements for powder feed to the guns. Integrated sensors such as weight, flow, pressure and level sensors as well as the fully automatic color change offer high efficiency and productivity. The SFT ("Smart Feeding Technology") feeding concept generates a constant powder feed, even for high output rates over long periods of time. The IPS is embedded in a complete system with WICOS.Plus control.

State-of-the-art powder preparation with ultrasonic screening for fresh and recirculated powder and a vibrated and fluidized container result in a very high degree of coating purity.

The innovative dosing of fresh and recovered powder without kinetic energy (Soft Flow Feeding) allows a gentle introduction of the powder into the fluid container. Wear and maintenance costs are thus significantly reduced.
