With around 9,000 participants from 373 companies, the 2025 Friedrichshafen company run set a new participation record and was the biggest sporting event on Lake Constance. On 10 July 2025, 108 athletes from the WAGNER locations in Markdorf and Altstätten set off at 6 pm to run the 5.5 km course through the orchards around the Friedrichshafen exhibition centre, enjoying sunshine and pleasant temperatures.
WAGNER CEOs Guido Bergman and Michael Müller were already waiting at the finish line. Michael had joined the run himself and was applauding the WAGNER employees who arrived after him. At the WAGNER stand, all the exhausted yet euphoric runners celebrated with their colleagues who had come to the course as fans and cheered them on loudly. Team spirit at its best!
At the awards ceremony, the fastest running teams were honoured on stage, and creativity was celebrated too. The August-Friedrich-Osswald School team ran the course dressed as an imaginative school class; the Friedrichshafen city administration dressed as divers; and DIEHL dressed as the Crazy Zeppelin Pilots. They all received the popular creative prize, sponsored by WAGNER. As well as the main awards ceremony, the highlight of the evening was the atmospheric after-run party, where the live band Project xXx provided the perfect after-work atmosphere.
