Pumps for liquid coating

We offer the right pump for all liquids: For paints, hardeners, stains, solvents, and adhesives. For abrasive, sensitive, low to high viscosity, or reactive coating materials. For coating wood, metal, plastic, glass, leather, or other materials. You can choose between pumps for airspray, AirCoat, airless, protective coating, or high-speed rotation applications.

Piston pumps differ in terms of the required working pressure and the number of connected guns. Depending on the area of application, they are available as low-pressure or high-pressure pumps (from less than 1 to a maximum of 530 bar working pressure).

In addition to the typical low-pressure double diaphragm pumps for a wide range of applications from < 1 to 20 bar, WAGNER is the only manufacturer of high-pressure double diaphragm pumps (Cobra) for material pressures up to 250 bar. The Cobra impresses with its uniquely economical use of flushing agent during color changes and extremely gentle handling of the liquids to be pumped.

Pressure tanks fulfill several tasks simultaneously: storage, pressurization, and material transport. The material supply from pressure tanks is completely pulsation-free and suitable for working pressures up to 8 bar. Since they have virtually no wear parts, they are also suitable for coating with abrasive and shear-sensitive materials.

Frequently asked questions about pumps for liquid coating

Pumps are used to transport liquid coating materials from the container to the spray guns. Depending on the system, mixing or color change systems are also operated between the container and the atomizer.

When selecting a pump, the pressure loss in the hose lines is decisive in addition to the pressure required for coating at the atomizer. In addition to the length and diameter of the line, the viscosity and flow rate also play a decisive role.

The pump must be able to deliver the required pressure and sufficient quantity to supply all atomizers with the necessary amount of material at all times.

Especially when changing colors frequently, it makes sense to choose a pump that uses as little flushing agent as possible. This reduces costs, waste, and disposal expenses.

The coating material used is also an important selection criterion: viscosity, abrasiveness, and reactivity are important factors here. All WAGNER pumps are suitable for solvent- and water-based coating materials.

WAGNER pumps for liquid coating cover a very wide range of industrial applications. They impress with their consistent performance, high reliability, ease of maintenance, low wear, and low energy consumption. Operation, service, and commissioning are extremely simple.
