WAGNER DP 1-40: Low-pulsation double diaphragm pump for efficient airspray coating

With the pneumatic double diaphragm pump, users achieve high-quality surfaces even without a material pressure regulator. At the same time, process costs are significantly reduced. The pump is suitable for a wide range of airspray applications, including the coating of furniture or plastic parts.

The DP 1-40 double diaphragm pump is the technically optimized successor to the DD 10 - a universal solution from WAGNER for airspray applications in the low pressure range. On the one hand, it is suitable for manual applications with small processing quantities for the direct supply of one to two guns. On the other hand, the pump can also be integrated into systems with mixing or color change systems and can supply up to four automatic airspray guns. Users in the plastics, wood, metal, or glass industry thus receive a compact, robust, and universally applicable solution for a wide variety of liquid coating applications.

Significant savings in flushing agent and paint

The low double stroke volume of the DP 1-40 significantly reduces paint and solvent consumption and ensures efficient color changes and quick cleaning. A typical flushing process uses only around 0.4 liters of flushing agent - up to 70% less than similar pumps on the market. This also reduces VOC emissions and material costs - a major advantage for frequent color changes or small batch sizes.

High-quality surfaces without material pressure regulator

Another key feature of the DP 1-40 is its particularly low-pulsation material flow. This means that, unlike conventional double diaphragm pumps, the pump does not require a material pressure regulator for most applications. The result is an extremely even spray pattern. Without a material pressure regulator, investment costs are also lower, less flushing is required, and maintenance is easier. With a starting pressure of 1.0 bar, the pump is suitable for a wide range of applications. For processes that require lower working pressures, a regulator can be installed at any time.

Easy operation and flexible integration

The pump is equipped with two precisely adjustable controllers for pump pressure and atomizing air, making it very easy to operate. Quick adjustment of settings contributes to safe and efficient processes in daily operation. The DP 1-40 can also be flexibly integrated into a wide variety of working environments. The control unit can be mounted horizontally or vertically as required. A wide range of accessories is available for different mounting requirements, ranging from racks and mobile trolleys to various suction hoses, filters, and gun distributors.

Universal solution for a wide range of materials

All material-wetted parts are made of aluminum, stainless steel, POM, and PA. This means that a wide range of coating materials can be processed with a single pump: water- and solvent-based materials, 2K paints, and even shear- and moisture-sensitive materials.

Low maintenance and quick service

The modular design ensures that service work can be carried out with minimal effort. All relevant components are easily accessible and can be replaced using standard tools. Replacing the diaphragm takes less than 15 minutes.
